This is the first time I’ve been able to post a review of a brand new water filter. But before I give any feedback in the new review, I’d like to provide a little bit of context, as I’ve never used Kirkland before. Kirkland is one of those brands that I’ve heard about, but never really used.

Kirkland is a personal filter. It’s designed for just drinking (but the bottle is made from stainless steel) and isn’t meant to be a filter for a water bottle. The water from a Kirkland filter has a slightly cloudy appearance and a slightly metallic taste, but once you’ve used it, you’ll notice its benefit. Kirkland’s filter will filter out the chlorine in your drinking water, making the taste slightly more pleasant.
Kirklands water filter is made from stainless steel and is, of course, not meant for drinking. For that, you should go for an ionizer. I have one and its a great thing to have, but you shouldn’t.
I have a friend that insists on drinking Kirkland water and I have to tell him that he shouldnt because it has too much chlorine.
