I don’t know, maybe I just want to be the best person to get what I want. Maybe because I’ve never been that person. Maybe I’m just good at it. Or maybe I’m so convinced that I’m the best person to get what I want that I’m willing to try anything to get it.
I feel like we have this conversation all the time, but you know it’s just a conversation. People who want to be a great writer are always telling us about what great writers do. Great story-tellers are always telling us how many great stories they can tell. Great writers are always telling us how much they’d love to write. It’s about changing your habits, your routines, your habits. It’s about changing the way you think about your writing.
