My LG fridge has an on/off switch on the front side of the door. I have to flip the top to the left to turn on the refrigerator light. I don’t know what other places you have to switch off but it is not designed to be reset.

LG fridge is a great example of an appliance that is easy to lose one’s place. I’m sure that there are many places that you can reset the filter light on a refrigerator, but I found it hard to find the switch I need. The only one that I can find is on the door that flips open the door. You have to flip the top to the left to turn on the light.

You can use a screwdriver to pop out the center post right underneath the light switch and unscrew the whole thing, then flip the top to the left to reset the light switch. This method is what I use for my Samsung fridge, and it works every time.
