I have a Samsung fridge and a Samsung tv. I hate both for it but this one is the best. The Samsung fridge filter light is on and the Samsung tv is off and the Samsung fridge is off. I know this is a complicated issue but I have been searching and searching for the solution and I have found nothing. It has been over a month and no one has come up with a solution. Hopefully this is just a glitch and it is a feature that is working.
Samsung has been quiet on this issue in the past but Samsung TVs have a built in feature to turn off the Samsung fridge filter light in order to save battery. This is a somewhat complicated solution as Samsung TVs are usually pretty frugal so you may end up with a big bill for your TV.
The fridge filter light is just a fan that is on when the fridge is on and off when the fridge is off. The fridge filter light does nothing more than turn on the fan so it doesn’t overheat.
