For the most part we don’t think about the water filters we use because we don’t consider ourselves to be particularly sensitive or aware of it. We take our water with us in the form of tap water or bottled water that we drink from. But let’s be honest, the water we use is a pretty small portion of our life.
I think it’s because we are so used to our tap water that we have no problem with the water being filtered through a filter. But it’s not just the filter that we take issue with, but the way the water is filtered from all the other things in our life. We have a filter for our toilets. We have a filter for our showers. We have a filter for our dishwasher. We have a filter for our kitchen sink. We have a filter for our car.
But what are the filters of our brain that we take issue with? I’d say that we are pretty used to the way our tap water is filtered. But how about our brains? We are pretty used to the amount of chemicals and toxins that are in our tap water. We are pretty used to the air pollution that comes from coal and oil burning power plants. We are pretty used to the amount of chemicals and toxins that come from the everyday things we put into our bodies.
It’s not that the problem is that our tap water is fine, it’s that it’s not. Our minds are not just as good as our tap water. Our brains are made of neurons, and the more chemicals we put into our bodies, the more chemicals we put into our brains. And, as it turns out, our brains are quite good at filtering out a lot of the toxins in our tap water.
Now that we have made it to the end of this video, we’re going to take a minute to discuss what it is about coal and oil that makes these plants and our families so toxic. If you’re reading this, you’ve probably already thought about your family’s tap water and how it might have been tainted. The reason I say you’ve already thought about it is because when you think about it, it seems so obvious.
Coal and oil are both fossil fuels, and that means they have long-term natural toxicological effects. We can’t really pinpoint when a coal plant started producing coal because the process and the equipment were built in the 1970s and 1980s. However, since the process of coal burning itself involves emissions of lead and mercury, which are known to be long term toxicological effects, we can now pinpoint that it happened in the 1970s and 1980s.
That said, the process of coal production itself isnt too bad. The coal is mined, crushed, and burned in a furnace. There are two main processes involved in the production of coal. The first is the energy required to dig out, grind, and pulverize coal, a process that itself requires a lot of energy. The second process is the chemical conversion of coal to its coke, which is the final product.
The process of extracting coal is pretty simple. Coal is crushed down into a fine powder (like sand). The coal is then mixed with water to create a slurry. The slurry is then fed into a boiler, where it is heated to a temperature that allows it to condense. The coal is then transferred into a storage vessel. In this vessel, the coal is heated until it reaches the temperature required to make it coke.
