Rainsoft Water Filter is a filter I’ve been using for over 10 years. It’s a great way to get rid of your used water and save money on your water bill.
The product is designed for water-soluble, non-toxic potable water, and its a super simple process, which you can get started with a $9.99 bottle. You can add a few gallons of water, and after 5 minutes the filter removes over 99% of the contaminants that can make your water unsafe.
The filter is based on a technology called ion exchange, which has been around for decades. The problem with ion exchange is that it can only remove certain types of contaminants, which means you need to use more water to get rid of toxins. In order to remove chlorinated water, you need to use over 10 gallons.
If you want to turn your water into something more desirable, you can easily upgrade to a water treatment system which will do a much better job of removing these substances.
