I have a Samsung water filter that I swear I have never used since it was made. I bought it a few years ago and did a water filter test this morning, but I still have no idea what it does.
The Samsung water filter is a piece of crap. It has no filter capability whatsoever, and will not push down the water to flush it from your system. In fact, it will allow the water to run down the drain, making you sick. You should either stop using it or buy a new one.
I can’t help but think of it as a form of water torture.
This should be a warning to all water fans, but it’s not. You can buy a water filter that can filter your water to your specifications and still use the water in the toilet or shower. That’s the beauty of a filter, it’s supposed to help you filter your water so you only need to buy it once. The problem is that they can be a pain to clean, and are more expensive than you’d expect.
A couple of years ago I bought a Samsung water filter that was basically the model for my current one. I figured I’d switch it out at the end of the month as I’d be done with the filter and the water in the toilet and shower. I’ve been using it for a couple of months now, and it hasn’t leaked. I’m sure the filter is fine though. I guess we just have to wait for the next leak.
It’s not that the Samsung water filter is bad, but it is a bit of an expensive hassle to wash. I have a LG water filter that is far less expensive, and better than the Samsung, but it still takes a few times longer to wash. Thats one of the main reasons I switched to the Samsung.
Oh good lord, I just came back from the beach, and I still have my water filter. I have never been a big fan of the water filter, but it has been a lifesaver for me and the family. It is a very cost effective addition to my water filtration system. I use the filters at least twice a week, plus I have a few bottles of water at a time, and it cuts down on the amount of chlorine we have to use.
You might be shocked to know that the Samsung is one of the only two Korean brands to sell water filters specifically for the home, the other being Korea’s big name brand, LG.
Samsung is definitely one of the more expensive brands, but you get a lot for your money when you buy a water filter. For one, the filters will not only reduce the amount of chlorine in your drinking water, but they will be resistant to the bacteria that causes giardia. In addition, the filters will also reduce the amount of minerals in your water, especially Na and K.
This is one of those things that is very hard to measure. The filters have a “slim fit” that lets water pass through, but not through other materials such as plastic or glass. The filters are also fairly expensive, but they are pretty well worth it when you consider the long-term health benefits that they provide.
