Next, add a bag of sand. Then add about 3 gallons of water. Now, fill the container with a container of filter media. This is what keeps your water clean.
The downside is that it’s a big deal to empty the filter, so even if you just empty the container and forget to add a bag of media, it’s still a pain in the ass. But if you’re like, “I’d rather have a clean water system,” this is a must-have for any home.
