Later on, the filters were upgraded to a temperature dial but one of the dials was an incorrect temperature setting. There were also filters that were not set up properly or had leaks that allowed the water to be contaminated.
As far as I’m aware, only a few of the water filters in the 2000s had a temperature setting to adjust the water flow. There were many other filters that were set up improperly, or that had leaks that allowed the water to be contaminated. All of the filters in the 2000s were set up wrong and I had to pay to replace every one of them.
If you live in an area where your water is not filterable, you should probably get a new filter. If you have water problems, you should probably look at what type of filter you are using. If you have no problem with water quality, then the next best thing is to get a water filtration system.
