I moved into a new apartment while my water filter was being installed. One of the things we decided was to keep the apartment at least one month longer than we had to because we wanted to have the water filter in there for a longer period of time. The water filter is a major investment, so I spent a week figuring out a water filter program that worked.

The water filter I ended up deciding on was a two part system. First, I went with a dual-purpose pump. The dual-purpose pump is a great idea. It can get water out of the basement tap, but it can also do a lot of other things besides that. It can also be combined with a water softener so that the water gets filtered out of the water heater completely. Combined with the water softener, I got a water-drained apartment with no plumbing, a huge water softener, and a water tank that is totally unnecessary.
I found myself looking at apartments to try and figure out which one would have the water-softener. Most of them are too small to have a water tank (the apartment was too small for the water softener to be of any use), and I couldn’t help but feel like this was a rather low-tech apartment. Most of the apartments I walked into had a water softener.
The big problem in having the water softener is that it is useless if the water softener isn’t in the apartment. So if you have a water softener in your apartment, you are basically putting your water softener in your bathroom. And this is how most apartments function, with the water softener being in the bathroom and not in the apartment.
The apartment in the above video also has a very outdated water softener. It is a low-tech way to remove chlorine from the water if your apartment isnt well equipped with a water softener system. But again, most apartments are built with a water softener system, so most apartments are the same.
The water softener is one of the most important appliances in your apartment. It’s the only way for the water to remove chlorine and other harmful substances from the water. If your apartment has no water softener, you should have a water filtration system installed, so that your water is safe to drink.
