This is a product I am in the process of ordering from the yamaha. I have had it for a couple years now and I have to say, it is one of the best ones I have ever owned. My wife and I were in a car accident, and this was the only fuel filter that made it through the fire hose the whole way to us. I really like this product. It works good and is simple to use.
I also like it because it is so easy to clean. I am able to get all the water out from my water bottle before the filter even needs to be cleaned. I can also tell if there are any residual water particles on the filter.
Just a note about the product: This is a yamaha outboard fuel water separator, and it’s a small (15L) model. It is very easy to use. It has no moving parts and takes about five minutes to fully open and close.
It comes with either a black or white plastic filter, which basically just filters out debris from the water. I like the black plastic filter because I can keep it clean for a little while. The white plastic filter is for when I just want to use it as a filter for a water bottle.
I think it’s an awesome product. It cleans out the water really well and it’s really easy to clean. I’ve used it as a filter for my water bottle, and it kept the water clean. The only downside is that I wasn’t able to use the filter on the engine of my truck, which was a pain to get working. It works great though as it cleans out the water and filter.
The company says that the yellow filter is for the engine, and the red filter is for the water bottle. It just depends if your using the truck engine or the water bottle.
It’s a pretty simple filter, but I’ve noticed that with the engine, it’s hard to get the water through the filter. I’ve only used it on the engine, so I can’t say whether it will work for the water bottle. If you don’t have a water bottle, I’d suggest getting a filter instead.
When you run a water filter, you will get a brown water. This is because the water is separating into the two colors. So if you drink the one that is yellow, the filter will remove it, and the yellow water will remain so the water does not end up with an orange color.
