That’s a really good description of how thinking can actually cause you to do something you didnt even think about. For example, if you’re thinking about getting into your car and you start changing the air filter, the subconscious mind may be saying, Oh, I’m going to change the air filter while we’re driving, not in the middle of your car. You don’t care what car you’re in, you just want to get a new one.
The same thing happens with thoughts. Some go to work, while others go to bed. Some thoughts can be useful and helpful, but others don’t. We can think about doing something, but if we don’t actually do it, it will be a waste of time and energy.
