It is also the only pump that only distributes water to the kitchen sink, but it does that and the rest of the house is still fauceted. It is the only pump that has a long life, so it would be great to have. If you want a pump with a longer life, you’d need to go with the brita max.
It’s a bit of a bummer to have to carry around a longlife pump when you really don’t need it, especially if you’re not a water guy. It’s also very convenient to have just one pump and it is compatible with most water systems. The brita max is much more expensive and is only compatible with the brita ultramax.
