The water filter is a product of an American company called Waterline. They’ve been producing water filters in the US since 1989. But their latest water filter is a great deal for those of us living in hot, humid regions. Unlike the old, all-purpose chlorine-based filters, the new water filter is a “high-performance” filter. It uses a brand new technology called “ultra-pure” water. Its great to have water that doesn’t bleach or foul.
Its also great to know that ultra-pure water is an alkaline. This means the water is usually slightly alkaline, meaning that it has a pH level between 3.0 and 3.5. This means that the acidity level in the water is lower than most water, which is great for garden-variety plants.
Like many other water filters, it also requires a water softener, but unlike most water filters, it can actually be filtered without it.
