I found this thread after my friend bought this filter for their pool but it’s just as bad as the paper filter, it’s still dirty and must be cleaned.
If you’re looking for a cheap filter that works for a long time, you may want to consider the paper filter. These paper filters are more or less cheap (though not cheap enough for most people) and are good for the long term. The problem is that these paper filters are not cheap enough for a single person to use for a month or more. They’re not cheap enough to be used to clean a pool when the water is still dirty, either.
